On the Friday, February 14 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Carter’s world comes crashing down. He should be riding high off the success of Forrester Creations. But climbing your way up isn’t always what it seems. It can get lonely at the top. Carter made a bloody mess of things and can’t fix them.
Time To Celebrate
Friday’s episode is a time for celebration. Katie (Heather Tom) gathered everyone in the office for good news. The numbers are in for Forrester Creations, and they’re soaring. The company is riding high on the success of Electra (Laneya Grace) and Ivy’s (Ashleigh Brewer) jewelry line. Electra was there to celebrate with her new beau, Will (Crew Morrow).
There was another reason to celebrate. It was also Valentine’s Day. Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) had a special gift for Hope (Annika Noelle). But first, he wanted to make amends with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Eric (John McCook). He reminded Hope they were the ones who built the legacy, not them. Hope wanted to know where Carter was going with this.

Carter admitted that he felt guilty for taking over the company. Hope reminded him that what he did was heroic and needed to be done. He brought up the idea that they should apologize to Ridge and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). He wants to go out on top, but Hope refused to. She second-guessed everything that Carter did for her. Carter assured Hope that he still loved her and wanted to celebrate Valentine’s Day with her.
My Bloody Valentine
Carter removed a gift from his desk. He was planning to give Hope a beautiful red heart necklace. Hope told him that this wasn’t the time for presents. She walked out on him. Carter realized their relationship was over. He took the heart pendant and smashed it on the desk out of rage. His hand turned into a bloody mess, and the blood mixed in with the red gemstone pieces.
Carter lost everything he wanted. Now, he found himself alone. To add insult to injury, Ridge walked into the office. He might’ve heard Carter and Hope’s explosive fight. He recites the line, “Heavy is the head that wears the crown, Carter.” What will Carter do next? Will he accept defeat and hand the company back over to Ridge and Steffy? Or will he continue to fight in order to save his relationship? It’ll be interesting to see how Carter picks up the pieces of his broken, bleeding heart.
