The Bold and the Beautiful recap for February 14 sees a whole lot of second-guessing as Team Carter launched the new line and Finn struggled with his secret.
What Happened Today On The Bold and the Beautiful?
Hope (Annika Noelle) and Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) feud escalated as Hope continued to push Steffy’s buttons, prompting Steffy to give her a piece of her mind. Tensions flared, and the animosity between the two women reached new heights.
Meanwhile, at the Forrester mansion, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) spent Valentine’s Day together, sharing romantic moments. Eric (John McCook) joined them, eager to watch the jewelry line drop on his tablet. Steffy and Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) arrived, and the group discussed Carter’s current predicament, hoping he would come to his senses soon.
On the other side of town, Finn (Tanner Novlan) struggled with a dilemma. The weight of Luna’s secret and Steffy’s history of betrayal haunted him. Realizing that Steffy deserved to know the truth, he finally decided that he had to tell her. Overwhelmed with emotion, he called Steffy, told her he loved her, and reminded her that they needed to talk.

Over in the design room, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) attempted to reason with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), reminding him that Forrester Creations ultimately belonged to Ridge and Eric. However, Carter was unmoved, pointing out that the Forresters had attempted to push Hope out. Brooke remained steadfast, shifting the conversation to Valentine’s Day and acknowledging that neither of them had the man they loved by their side.
Launch Party!
Soon, the rest of the team (sans Steffy and Ivy) joined them. Electra presented Carter with a stunning Valentine’s gift for Hope, but while placing it in a drawer, he stumbled upon Eric’s old stapler, which left him visibly shaken. Meanwhile, Will (Crew Morrow) praised Electra’s (Laneya Grace) meteoric rise to success, along with Zende’s, though Electra herself didn’t seem as enthusiastic.
Carter was also impressed as the orders started pouring in. Hope, thrilled by the positive momentum, launched into a speech about justice finally prevailing. Her joy was interrupted when Charlie (Dick Christie) arrived with a grand bouquet of flowers from the International office. Electra then received a congratulatory text from Ridge for both her and Ivy, which immediately dampened the celebratory mood.
Carter’s Had Enough
Hope, sensing Carter’s shift in demeanor, requested a private moment with him. Carter admitted that Forrester Creations no longer felt the same without Eric, Stephanie, and Ridge. Hope urged him to set his guilt aside, but Carter interpreted the moment differently, seeing it as an opportunity to make amends.
Hope was stunned when Carter suggested they go to Ridge and Eric and apologize. She adamantly refused, unwilling to beg forgiveness from the family that had tried to humiliate her. But Carter had reached his breaking point. Wracked with guilt, he decided he couldn’t continue betraying his closest friends. A hysterical Hope stormed out in frustration.
Left alone, Carter opened the necklace he had made for Hope and shed his own tears. In a fit of emotion, he punched his desk while holding the pendant, cutting himself in the process. Just then, Ridge walked in and observed, “Heavy is the head that wears the crown, huh, Carter?” Talk about timing!
Love and Concerns
Back at Forrester Creations, Will sweetly gifted Electra a teddy bear and flowers for Valentine’s Day, earning himself a kiss in return. Meanwhile, Katie, Brooke, and Zende gathered in the design room to discuss Carter’s melancholy mood despite the successful launch, unaware of the storm brewing beneath the surface.
