Sally Spectra is finally going to get a chance to shine when her new line debuts next week on The Bold and the Beautiful. What could possibly go wrong? Well, plenty if you look at the faux pas associated with her predecessor, her great aunt, the first Sally Spectra.
B&B was put on the soap map once Darlene Conley brought Sally Spectra, the character imagined by the show’s creator William J. Bell, to the scene.
Now her namesake, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), stands to follow in her aunt’s footsteps. Here’s a look back at some of original Sally’s most famous antics!
Dress For Success
Sally was obsessed with getting stylish Forrester gowns so she could pass them off as Spectra Fashions.
First, she blackmailed Clarke Garrison (Dan McVicar) into stealing some designs. Then, Sally dressed up like a man so she could get a peek at Forrester’s newest creations herself!
All Wet
Sally showed up at Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) mansion – uninvited, of course! – to read Steph the riot act over how she felt the Forrester matriarch was treating her family.
Sally lunged at Steph, but she tripped over her leg and went splash into Stephanie’s pool!

The Rabbit Lived
Sally and Stephanie were competing for Jack Hamilton (Chris Robinson), Taylor’s dad. Jack felt compelled to stay with Sally after she told him she was pregnant.
But Sally was lying! Stephanie learned the truth and marched over to Sally’s and popped her rival for trying to manipulate Jack.
I Object
Sally got revenge on Stephanie for what she felt was years of abuse by ruining Eric (John McCook) and Steph’s remarriage. Prior to the ceremony, Eric had had a romp with Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman).
Sally planted a risqué picture of Eric and Lauren in the officiator’s bible — Steph saw the X-rated pic and called the wedding off! It was dirty pool, but Sally got her revenge!
