In the April 17 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Daphne confessed to Electra. She informed her that her Aunt Ivy has manipulated her relationship with Will. Daphne encouraged her to speak with her aunt as soon as possible. Electra was forced to confront the one person she thought she could trust.

Key Takeaways

  • Ivy warned Daphne not to tell Electra about what happened to her letter to Will.
  • Daphne told Electra she needed to have an honest conversation with her aunt.
  • Electra found herself in a difficult place, wondering whether she could trust her aunt.

What Happened on B&B

Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) knew that Electra (Laneya Grace) needed answers. She deserved to know what happened to her relationship with Will (Crew Morrow). She told Electra that Will never received her letter.

Electra was shocked to learn that Will still didn’t know how she felt about him. Daphne admitted that the letter was gone before Will could see it. He wasn’t able to respond.

Electra noted that he left the necklace behind. That was his response. Daphne asked Electra if she had brought it up to him. Electra admitted her fault in not asking Will about what happened.

Why It Matters

This matters because Electra deserves to hear the truth. She has no idea what happened to her relationship with Will. She was convinced that he walked out on her.

Daphne suggested that the letter was intercepted because someone else wanted to keep her and Will apart. That’s when she suggested that Electra should talk to her aunt Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer).

Instead of ratting Ivy out, Daphne advised Electra to speak to her aunt. She assured her that she deserved to know the truth and quietly left the room. That’s all she had to do. It was up to Electra to handle the rest.

The Fallout

Ivy was the one person whom Electra could trust. Her aunt told her that she loved her so much that she would do anything for her. But what she did was manipulate her relationship with Will.

She broke them apart to satisfy her own needs. Ivy didn’t care about Electra getting a broken heart. She was using their relationship to fuel her vengeance against the Spencers.

The fallout won’t be worth it. Even though Ivy will vehemently defend herself into next week, it’s not going to help matters. She’ll realize she could lose the one person she cares about most.
