The truth will out in the Friday, April 17 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Electra’s going to be stunned by what she learns. Meanwhile, RJ is finally going to explain why there’s so much bad blood between him and Will.

Key Takeaways

  • What’s been hidden from Electra is now coming to light.
  • The state of her love life.
  • The family history is at the root of RJ and Will’s feud.

What Happened Previously on B&B

Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) urged Electra (Laneya Grace) to remember how Will (Crew Morrow) broke her heart. She’d poured her feelings into a letter to him. “He” answered by returning the necklace she had made. Electra took it as a sign that he didn’t want to be together. But Will never got her letter. Ivy made sure of it. She’s been manipulating their relationship this whole time.

Electra trusts her aunt. Ivy stood by her decision to meddle in the couple’s affairs despite Daphne’s criticism. Ivy wants Electra to be with R.J. (Brayan Nicoletti). Ensuring Will and Electra broke up made that a possibility.

R.J. has pursued Electra with care and affection. He’s verbally sparred with Will over her and instigated a physical altercation as well. However, she’s not the sole reason he dislikes his cousin. He called the Spencer a “low-life” and a “dirt bag.” He also compared Will to his father, Bill (Don Diamont), who was R.J.’s stepfather many years ago.

The cousins are former step-siblings with a past that hurt both of their mothers. That connection is one more fraught than the ire between their fathers.
