Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas.
One of General Hospital’s most beloved stars is leaving the show: Kin Shriner. “I just found out Scotty was written out,” shared the actor on Twitter, following that up with a big thank you to fans “for decades of supporting me.” Shriner debuted in the role in 1977. Shriner has tweeted out similar statements in the past, however, only to return to the show again and again. Have we seen the last of Scotty? Don’t bet on it.
Emma Samms completed her latest run on the soap opera as Holly Sutton. The character said goodbye to her ex-husband, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), and has exited Port Charles.
Vernee Watson is returning for a few episodes as Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) aunt. Look for Stella Henry to pay a visit to Port Charles this week.
Christopher Sean resurfaces as Days of our Lives’ Paul Narita on Wednesday, May 24. He’ll share scenes with his TV dad, Drake Hogestyn, who plays John Black and pops in to visit him in San Francisco.
Noah Huntley reprises his role of Lord Sebastian Alamain on Wednesday, May 24. He first appeared on Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem in 2021. The character will interact with Stephen Nichols’ Steve Johnson.
Peter Porte gets more airtime as Dimitri Von Leuschner. He’ll share scenes on the soap opera with the above-mentioned Nichols as well as Steve Burton’s Harris Michaels on Wednesday, May 24.
Lily Brooks O’Briant resurfaces for a few episodes as Lucy Romalotti on The Young and the Restless, this week. Danny’s (Michael Graziadei) teenage daughter arrived in Genoa City for her grandmother Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) funeral and, apparently, decided to stick around town.
B&B is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives (DOOL), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS.
