Daniel tried to reconnect with Lucy Romalotti on The Young and the Restless and seemed to make some progress. But was it enough for Lucy to come live with her dad in Genoa City?

Y&R: Good Enough
Lucy is a kid, and she has a life with her stepmother and at boarding school. Why would she want to change that, 11% of the audience is wondering. She and Daniel made a brief connection, but it’s not like he erased every bad thing that he’s done in the past. (Not that we have a very strong idea of what exactly that was.)
Heather has been raising Lucy since she was an infant. She is as much her mother as Daniel is her father. (And she is definitely as much her mother as Danny is Daniel’s father.) Lucy has every reason to stay with her.
Lucy Romalotti: Blood Only
Who cares that Heather has raised Lucy from practically Day One? Not the 38% of you who don’t consider Heather relevant here. Daniel is Lucy’s biological parent, and she should live with him, no ifs, ands, or buts. Can you imagine if adoptive parents had the same rights?
And, while we’re at it, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) isn’t an Abbott, Lily (Christel Khalil) isn’t Neil Winters’s, Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) should give Christian over to Adam (Mark Grossman), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) should give up Johnny (Paxton Mishkind), and Summer (Allison Lanier) needs to stop calling herself Harrison’s mommy.
Y&R: Children First
A little over half of the voters, 51%, need Daniel to drop everything and focus exclusively on Lucy. She needs to know that she is the center of the universe, and nothing is more important. That attitude hasn’t done Connor (Judah Mackey) any harm, and Genoa City needs more kids just like him. What else do adults have to think about, if not their offspring?
