Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas.
The Young and the Restless
Chene Lawson is back as Yolanda “Harmony” Hamilton, Devon’s (Bryton James) mother, on The Young and the Restless. The actress, who originated the character in 2005, will appear in several episodes beginning Tuesday, May 2. Harmony was last played by All My Children alumna Debbi Morgan (ex-Angie) from 2011 to 2012.
Thad Luckinbill pops in as J.T. Hellstrom on Tuesday, May 2, via a video call with Brytni Sarpy’s Elena. The character was last seen in 2019.
Days of our Lives
A legendary Hollywood star is coming to Days of our Lives. Dick Van Dyke has already filmed scenes on the soap opera as a mystery man with amnesia. He’ll share the screen with Drake Hogestyn and Deidre Hall’s John and Marlena. There’s no word on an exact airdate yet.
Lauren Koslow is back as Kate Roberts on Monday, May 1, after a few weeks off the canvas for. The character had been presumed dead at the hands of Bo (Peter Reckell).
Ramon Fernandez plays Mauricio on Monday, May 1, a fishing boat worker who interacts with Koslow’s Kate. Fernandez has an array of nighttime guest spot credits, including The Blacklist, NCIS: Los Angeles, S.W.A.T., and Chicago PD.
The Bold and the Beautiful
Jimmie Walker, remembered as J.J. “Kid Dy-No-Mite” Evans on the 1970s sitcom Good Times, pops in at The Bold and Beautiful. He’ll play Count Bouche on Wednesday, May 3, and Thursday, May 4 in scenes with Sean Kanan’s Deacon Sharpe.
Meanwhile, TikTok’s “Corn Kid” is set to portray Walker’s son, Orville. Tariq Logan airs on Wednesday, May 3, and Thursday, May 4.
Celebrity chef Danielle Uditi appears as herself on Wednesday, May 3. The master pizza maker will work with Kanan’s Deacon.
General Hospital
In the blink and you might have missed it department, James Ryan has wrapped up his stint on the soap opera as Ethan Lovett on General Hospital. The actor appeared in a couple of episodes as Holly Sutton’s (Emmy Samms) son in April, before vanishing from the canvas.
