Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Soap Opera Casting for the week of January 16, 2023
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas.
Zach Tinker, who’s been playing Sonny Kiriakis on Days of our Lives, is heading home to the soap where he made his daytime debut. The actor is set to reprise his role as Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael Baldwin’s (Christian J. LeBlanc) son, on The Young and the Restless. He’ll begin airing later this month.
Death and drama bring a trio of favorites back to Days of our Lives. Lucas Adams returns to Salem as Tripp Johnson on Tuesday, January 17 to deal with the aftermath of Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) demise.
Also heading home with Tripp will be his half-brother. Tanner Stine reprises his role on the soap opera as Joey Johnson on Tuesday, January 17.
Martha Madison is also back as Belle Black Brady on Thursday, January 19. Look for the character to visit her ailing mother Marlena Evans Black(Deidre Hall).
Réal Andrews is back for an appearance as General Hospital’s Marcus Taggert. The former PCPD cop is set to weigh in on a matter concerning his daughter, Trina (Tabyana Ali). He’ll share scenes with Donnell Turner’s Curtis Ashford and Brook Kerr’s Portia Robinson.
The real-life brother of Jophielle Love, who plays Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) daughter Violet, makes an appearance on the soap this week. Gabriel Sky plays “the French Boy” in scenes opposite Finola Hughes’ Anna Devane and James Patrick Stuart’s Valentin Cassadine.
Anna and Valentin also interact with a woman in Paris. Maria Tornberg portrays Rene.
Carolyn Hennesy pops back in as Corinthos family attorney Diane Miller on Monday, January 16. She’ll interact with Nicholas Chavez’s Spencer Cassadine.
Naomi Matsuda is back for another appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful. Look for Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan’s) mother, Dr. Li Finnegan, to pop in on the soap opera on Wednesday, January 18.
B&B is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives (DOOL), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
