They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this darling little flower girl grew up to be?
Star Of The Soaps
Obviously, this young woman (now all grown up) is either currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.
So try these on for size. She has appeared in a Broadway show. She is a soap hopper and a Daytime Emmy Award winner. She has starred in a web-exclusive series. She is a voice-over artist. And she has guest-starred on an episode of Castle.
But just who can she be? Is this a photograph of Sarah Joy Brown (ex-Aggie Jones, BB), Heather Lindell (Jan Spears, DAYS), Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves, GH), or Eden Riegel (ex-Heather Stevens, YR)?
Sarah Joy Brown
In addition to her work on BB, Brown is well known for her tour de force (and award-winning) performance as GH’s OG Carly Roberts and also Claudia Zacchara. Plus she’s also played cosmetics mogul Madison James on DAYS. But even though she’s also a star of the web serial Beacon Hill, Brown isn’t today’s featured star.
Heather Lindell
Lindell has appeared in both DAYS and As the World Turns, and she’s had guest spots on a number of Internet-only series including Sex Pose Man, The Tanner, and Days of our Lives’ Last Blast Reunion. But despite her status as a Broadway star, Lindell isn’t the answer to today’s identity query.
Cynthia Watros
Watros won critical acclaim – and a Daytime Emmy Award for her work on Guiding Light. Subsequently, she has appeared in series such as YR and Castle and she’s lent her voice to a character on Family Guy. However, Watros has never appeared on Broadway – though she has played characters in a number of web series.
Eden Riegel
Riegel made her acting debut in the Broadway production of Les Misérables and she went on to join the casts of As the World Turns, All My Children, and YR. Outside the confines of daytime drama, Riegel has guest-starred on Law & Order, American Dreams, NCIS, and Castle. She has also voiced characters in series such as Bleach, Tiger & Bunny, Sailor Moon R, and The Lion Guard.
So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image above was Eden Riegel – who won a Daytime Emmy for portraying AMC’s Bianca Montgomery – then you were absolutely correct!
