Soap Vet Jensen Buchanan Fails to Enter Plea in DUI Case

Veteran daytime actress,Jensen Buchanan (ex-Elise Moxley, The Young and the Restless; ex-Melissa Bedford, General Hospital; ex-Marley/Vicky, Another World) received a continuance for her felony DUI charge from May of this year.

No Plea Entered
Lawyers appeared on Buchanan’s behalf last week for her arraignment. The soap vet must appear in Santa Maria Superior Court on Oct. 14. The Santa Maria Times reports the soap star failed to enter a plea in the case for the third time.

Since her arrest, Buchanan wears a SCRAM (electronic monitoring) ankle bracelet, according to Santa Barbara County Deputy District Attorney Tiffany Dix. The actress also lives sober since the accident. On May 18, she allegedly drove her Mercedes S550 across the center line colliding with a white Ford C-Maxon Highway 154. Bradley Asolas, 56, of Camarillo, drove the vehicle her Mercedes hit.

Asolas suffered major injuries during the accident. Additionally, Buchanan received treatment for minor injuries. At the time of her arrest, the soap star’s blood alcohol level topped out at 0.34, which is above the legal limit of 0.08.
