Will Sasha and Brando’s General Hospital Love Survive Losing Liam?

General Hospital was particularly cruel this month, as they allowed Sasha and Brando to believe that their sickly preemie might make it…before yanking the rug out from under them and revealing that little Liam is essentially brain dead.

A Terrible General Hospital Tragedy

This is a couple who only got together because of Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) unexpected pregnancy, so will they be able to survive losing what first united them? Almost 7,000 voters made their predictions:

Solid as a Rock

They can get through this, 66% of you are whistling past a graveyard as you hope against hope that Liam Mike’s death won’t destroy Sasha and Brando (Johnny Wactor) to the point where looking at each other just reminds them of everything they’ve lost. They don’t really know each other very well and don’t yet know how the other behaves in a crisis. It’s possible this will break them up for good, but their fans are hoping it will, instead, bring them closer together.

Temporary General Hospital Lay Off

They could – and should – take a break, 20% of the audience advises, practice self-care, and grieve for their lost little boy. But, afterward, in honor of Liam, they should give their relationship another try, this time getting together not just because of their baby, but because they know and truly care about each other. This could be a love for the ages once they settle into a new normal.

Too Much Too Soon

Neither one of them is ready for this, 14% of viewers sigh. Neither one is exactly known for their maturity and they have no idea how to handle a crisis of this nature. It would be one thing if they were an established couple, but Liam was all that was keeping them together, in practice, and with him gone, so will their connection go with the wind.
