The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, October 16, promise a wedding for Sally Spectra and Billy Abbott. But has the path of true love ever run smooth in Genoa City? Prepare for a few bumps on the road to the altar.
Key Takeaways
- Sally’s bridesmaids don’t get along.
- Sally’s ex is a guest at the wedding.
- Can early labor be a false alarm twice?
Sally’s Wedding Tests Audra and Chelsea’s Fragile Truce
Sally (Courtney Hope, whose dress has a great surprise) is all set to marry the man she rebounded with after his girlfriend slept with her boyfriend. She is really committing to the bit, as the young people say. Unfortunately, it’s not just her fiancé who is a dud.
There is the matter of bridesmaid #1, Audra (Zuleyka Silver), really disliking bridesmaid #2, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan)… a.k.a. the woman Billy (Jason Thompson) was dating, who slept with Adam (Mark Grossman), the man Sally was dating.
We’ve given up hoping that this was some long revenge plot against all three of them on Sally’s part. But we’re still not convinced Chelsea won’t be sabotaging this wedding. Audra isn’t convinced either.
Billy Promised to Behave With Adam, but Will He?
With Chelsea as a bridesmaid, Adam will also be attending the wedding. This makes Billy mad. He stomped and fumed about it, but then generously promised Sally he would behave.
When has Billy ever behaved? What are the odds he won’t have another tantrum before Sally walks down the aisle?
Sally’s Baby Could Have Other Plans
Sally thought she was going into labor during her bridal shower. That turned out to be a false alarm, which is why she’ll probably ignore the contractions that come on during the wedding. Probably just another false alarm. No reason to shut down the party.
What’s the worst that can happen? Whoever heard of a Genoa City baby being born in an odd location at an inconvenient time?
