GH Spoilers for January 17: Carly Escalates Things By Seeing Diane

GH Spoilers Highlights

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is putting herself first — she is playing second fiddle to no one, and she knows she needs to do things to protect herself…and she keeps her promise. She meets with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), which seems odd since Diane is usually Sonny Corinthos’s main lawyer, and Diane does have a question. She wants to know if this is really a step Carly wants to take.

Brick (Stephen A. Smith) arrives at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) and instantly picks up on the tension. He says he feels like he’s walked in the middle of something going on, and considering how Sonny is going downhill fast off his meds, he’s probably not wrong. But he’s not there to socialize. Brick warns Sonny about a possible new threat. Oh, boy, just what Sonny needs right now.

General Hospital Spoilers: Needing A Solid

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) needs Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to back the heck off her BFF (and Selina’s nephew) Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) right now. But she also knows Selina would never listen to her. So, she asks Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for a favor. Bet she hopes she’ll work her magic with Sonny to call in a favor. But, when Nina takes issue, Britt wonders if Sonny even has a home left to wreck.

Michael Corinthos Quartermaine (Chad Duell) probably wonders the same thing after talking to his folks. But, he runs into Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) at everyone’s favorite boxing gym. Drew knows his folks have had knock-down drag-outs before — he shouldn’t fret. Michael tells Drew that this fight between his parents isn’t going to end anytime soon.

General Hospital: A Friend In Need

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) finally reconnects with one of her favorite pals. She gets together with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at The Savoy. She can tell he needs a shoulder and gets to hear all about Marshall Ashford’s return from the dead (Laura knows something about that). She asks the million-dollar question — is he ready to accept his father back into his life? Will Curtis give better answers than his pops?

Speaking of him, Marshall (Robert Gossett) goes to General Hospital in search of Epiphany Johnson (Sony Eddy), and he finds the smooth singer. He gets her to open up so we can learn more about her than we have in years, and he asks her why she didn’t follow her dream. This has the potential to be some great scenes. Fingers crossed!
