The DAYS spoilers recap for Friday, January 14, 2022, features JoDevil getting one over on EJ DiMera and Chad DiMera, Lucas Horton learning the hard way that you can’t trust anybody these days, and Maggie Horton Kiriakis, of all people, wheeling and dealing.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
In the past, the Devil’s been pretty laid back. It’s hardly harmed anyone of note, and any damage inflicted abated in time. But it’s getting pretty fed up with people meddling. Take Chad (Billy Flynn) for instance.
Who does Chad think he is, getting up on the witness stand and telling something as inconvenient as the truth – or what passes as the truth for a DiMera? What choice does the Devil have but to nearly snuff Chad out with The Force?
And then there’s Belle Black (Martha Madison). How dare she try to convince EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) that signing away his DiMera Enterprises stock to Johnny (Carson Boatman) isn’t in his best interest? The Devil’s now glad that it interfered in Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle’s marriage.
Luckily, EJ proved amenable, and JoDevil got exactly what it wanted from him…but Chad wasn’t about to let a thing like being supernaturally choked keep him from getting EJ sprung from the hoosegow. So, into EJ JoDevil turned, and molest Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) he did do. Surely that will change Chad’s mind.

Days of our Lives Recap: The Fickle Hand of Fate
All Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) wants is a life with Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney). And sure, he’ll always be her second choice next to EJ, but he’ll take it. But first, he’s got to ensure that EJ is sent to prison for a long, long time…and that won’t happen if Chad comes clean. So much for partners-in-crime.
Speaking of wants and desires, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) are desperate to take over the stewardship of both Titan and DiMera Enterprises…and they’ve just gained a surprising new ally. And sure, it doesn’t make much sense to have Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) all up in her hubby’s business affairs, but there ya go.
DOOL Spoilers Recap: Parent Trapped
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) loves her mother. Really, she does. But talking to Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) can be such a drag. But contending with Nancy Wesley in person is even more of a drain, as Chloe is about to realize. Perhaps she should have accepted those phone calls after all.
