GH spoilers for Friday, August 20, 2021, reveal determination, a wedding date set, secret feelings, and so much more. You won’t want to miss a dramatic moment of this new episode.
Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) questions the nature of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) relationship. It isn’t long before Anna wants to know if Martin’s hitting on her. Valentin steps up and questions Martin about whether or not he’s getting ideas about Anna. Is Martin truly making a play, or is he trying to help his friend get the girl?
Which would be really sweet of Martin, considering Valentin has been spending most of his time lately taking care of his not-daughter, Bailey, with his not-girlfriend, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Speaking of BLQ, she’s back at the Quartermaine mansion where someone is sticking their nose into her business but this time she welcomes someone else’s input. What is she up to?
Elsewhere in the mansion, GH spoilers tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and his barely-there wife Willow Tait Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) share a bittersweet moment. She insists that nothing has changed but he questions that. And who can blame him since he knows she’s stealing little love-in-the-afternoon moments with his best friend. How will she react when put on the spot?
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) must have Willow on his mind because he’s not giving his mom his full attention. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) announces that she and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) have set a wedding date. But as she talks things over with Michael, she sees that he seems to have something on his mind. She asks if he wants to tell her about it. Will he open up about his messed-up love life to her? It’s not like he can confide in his BFF.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Smike (Maurice Benard) are still mourning the loss of Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton), so when Smike seeks comfort from Nina, she puts him off, saying this is wrong. Smike is simply determined to live his life to the fullest and that means pursuing Nina. Is she putting him off because their timing is off — or is she getting a case of the guilts?
Back in Port Charles, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) steps up to be the parental influence for her grandson since he’s had it with his own father (and so has she, to be honest). Laura lets Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) know that there is no way he and Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) will be living together. Meanwhile, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) tries to hide her true feelings, but Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) knows better.
