The GH spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 10, 2022, features Spencer Cassadine learning a whole lot more about Esme Prince than he ever expected to know.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was surprised to find an empty pill bottle with no label on it while he was rifling through Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) things, but when he started reading the letters in the shoebox, he hit paydirt. No, he got no evidence that Esme is the one who made that sex video, but he did learn she really has been in touch with her old nanny, Maggie, all these years.
When Esme walked in on him, Spencer said he had been looking for his sunglasses when he found she had an out-of-season shoebox in her closet and he grew curious. Esme claimed she sometimes writes to Maggie so Spencer asked her why Maggie was saying it was best if she did not see her father while she was in Port Charles. After all, isn’t she adopted, and isn’t her adopted father supposed to be dead?
At Kelly’s, both Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) got on Cameron Webber’s (Will Lipton) case about being somewhat nice to Esme. As Joss really laid into him, Cam wasn’t really sure what to say without giving away Spencer’s game with his sorta-girlfriend.
Trina later met with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) at her gallery and asked for help getting Esme to crack. Ava suggested she flirt with Spencer to really get under Esme’s skin. Trina wasn’t sure she could do it, but she did confide in Ava that she has a way out of this mess, but it could end up hurting someone else.

General Hospital Recap: Nina Was The Voice Of Reason
At Charlie’s, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) tried the nice approach with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) as Carly just spoke angrily to her. She asked how Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was and Carly wanted to know why she was interested. Nina said it was for Wiley’s sake and everything is for Wiley’s sake. She just wants peace and to not go to court, but Carly still felt this was war.
After Nina left, Carly questioned Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) about the night Nina gave birth and learned that Phyllis wasn’t there when Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was born. She was just given a baby to bring to her new parents in Florida. Later, Carly tried to swipe Nina’s wine glass to run a DNA test, but Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) caught her.
Alexis Davis (temporarily played by Stephanie Erb) decided to visit Willow and told her all about Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) story about acquiring Willow while on a commune. She also had to admit that she realized that Harmony’s story just didn’t add up and Willow wondered if her father knew the truth.
GH Spoilers Recap: Ned’s Left Out In The Cold
Over at the Quartermaine mansion, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) questioned Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew about the ELQ merger with Aurora and voiced his hesitancy about it. After some hemming and hawing on Michael and Drew’s parts, they had to admit to Ned he could not be CEO of ELQ after that happens because he doesn’t know enough about media. Ned wondered if he is being put out to pasture.
