GH Spoilers Recap For August 29: Josslyn And Dex Become Ava’s Saviors

The GH spoilers recap for Monday, August 29, 2022, features Josslyn Jacks and Dex Heller playing heroes when Ava Jerome Cassadine seems down for the count.

After Josslyn (Eden McCoy) decided to tell off Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for just being present in the Quartermaine kitchen, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) walked in and tried to stop Carly Corinthos’s (Laura Wright) clone from talking. But Josslyn was done, so she took off and ended up at the boathouse, where she found Ava (Maura West) bleeding to death.

Ava begged Joss not to leave her alone, but she then lost consciousness. That’s when Dex Heller (Evan Hoffer) showed up, and he seems to have had medic training in the military, so he knew exactly what to do to try to control the bleeding and get Ava to General Hospital on their own. Joss did manage to call 911, however.

General Hospital Recap: Life Goes On While Ava Bleeds Out

Since Joss and Dex essentially kept the Ava news to themselves, the partygoers just went on with their lives. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) came across a drunk Spencer Cassadine and tried sobering him up until Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) arrived to take over.

Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) found Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) bleeding in the woods, and she told him she had no idea how she got the cut on her head, but she sure was mad at Hamilton Finn for interfering in her life again. She told her old friend she wasn’t sure she could trust Finn, but then became alarmed when she had another childhood staircase memory and lost time again. Later, Finn showed up and begged Liz to forgive him.

Valentin didn’t seem to want anything to do with anyone until he ran into Nina outside and began reciting poetry to her. How would Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) feel about that? Well, she was busy questioning Sonny about Victor’s dirty dealings, so she wasn’t really thinking about it.

In the stables, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) finally admitted she was attracted to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and told him all about her heartbreak with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Oddly enough, they kissed again.

Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) wondered if Dominique Baldwin had Cody in Shadybrook and didn’t even know it, but then he got the news that someone was stabbed on the property.

GH Spoilers Recap: Everyone Learned There Was A Stabbing

Mac, Felicia, and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) searched the Q grounds and finally found blood at the boathouse, so they knew where the crime took place. Anna was with Valentin when they learned from Jordan Ashford that the victim was Ava.

Sonny then learned from Anna that Ava was the one who was stabbed and shared that news with Nina. They both ran to the hospital just as Ava was being prepped for surgery.
