Cody Bell thought he was getting somewhere with Dr. Britt Westbourne on General Hospital. But then she up and died. How rude! Who should Cody turn his romantic attention to next?
Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) shared some sparks with Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) last year there have been no developments on that front lately. About 4% of you shrug that Terry doesn’t have enough going on in the romance department. Sure, running a hospital is fine. But how about a bad boy who lives with a horse to really make life interesting?
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) just dumped Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth), so she’s single again. Cody (Josh Kelly) has a lot in common with Maxie’s last boo. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was a bad boy who eventually almost cost Maxie her life. Cody seems to be in a much, much more minor league than that. Sure, he’s got secrets, and sure, he lies, and sure, we don’t really know what he wants in Port Charles. But we doubt he could ever be as bad as Peter, 8% damn with faint praise.
We definitely saw sparks between Cody and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), 26% are intrigued enough to vote. She looks like someone who could handle him, not to mention put him in his place when he needs it. They’d keep each other on their toes, and maybe even make beautiful music together. Plus, she really needs to leave Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) alone and let him live the life he wants, not the one she wants him to live.
Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is sad that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is dead. Cody is sad that Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) is dead. The two griefs aren’t even close to being equal, but they’re enough for 62% of the audience to be willing to see what could happen romantically… once they both cheer up.
