It took Ava Jerome and Nikolas Cassadine so long to admit their feelings for each other on General Hospital, but, for a while there, they actually seemed to be one of Port Charles’ happier couples. However, that was before Esme Prince insinuated herself into their lives.

Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) under orders from “Daddy” Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom) to break up Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and Ava (Maura West). And somehow she thinks the way to do that is by faking a pregnancy…and claiming the baby is Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
Then again, maybe she and Ryan know what they’re doing because the lie got her invited to live at Chez Cassadine…and infuriated Ava to the point where almost 3,000 fans are weighing in on whether Ava should file for divorce:

Ava doesn’t want to live under the same roof as Esme. And if Nikolas doesn’t get with the program, 44% of you definitely see a divorce in their future. If Nik can’t put his wife ahead of a known liar — even if he does have a rationalization about how it’s all in order to keep her from teaming up with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) — then Ava maybe should go looking for a man who will!

General Hospital: My Boy
Nik has received a lot of condemnation about how he abandoned Spencer while Nik was playing dead. Taking his son’s side over his wife’s is the best way Nik has to prove just how much his boy means to him, 34% of the audience insists.
GH: No Excuses
Esme set fire to Ava’s car, 22% remind. If Nik doesn’t see that’s a deal-breaker when it comes to playing roommates, then, yes, Ava shouldn’t just think about a divorce, she should immediately go out and get one.
