While Valentin and Anna — aka Vanna — are having major issues on General Hospital, James Patrick Stuart finds constant reminders about the couple in the real world. One such encounter with a sign was something he absolutely had to share with his fans.
The Food Service Industry
Recently, James Patrick Stuart, who is beloved as Valentin on GH, couldn’t help but post a selfie on X, formerly Twitter, with him looking suspiciously to the side. Behind him was a restaurant, the sign of which read, “Anna’s Chinese Restaurant.” He hilariously captioned it, “Always something there to remind me. #vanna #GeneralHospital.”
His words have a double meaning: He’s implying that he sees reminders of Vanna everywhere, and he took the time to quote the song “Always There To Remind Me,” which was originally written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, with the most popular version being the 1983 release by Naked Eyes (which you can check out below).
Valentin and his daughter Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) are currently on the run from the law, and he had to make a tearful goodbye to Anna (Finola Hughes) before splitting Port Charles. One fan took the opportunity to point out just how much the storyline was affecting them, by writing, “BAD BRATTY James‼️ Do you DELIGHT in TORMENTING us DEDICATED #Vanna fans⁉️⁉️😂🤨🤨🤨 Many of us rivaled the tears shed by BELOVED Anna this week‼️‼️” The fans were very worried that Stuart might be exiting GH, as one wrote the heartfelt, “Very touching goodbye to Anna. How very sad, and I wish she had decided to go with you. AND you better not have left for good. Anna needs you, viewers need you. Fans Continued To Worry
While one of Stuart’s followers hilariously went along with his gag by responding, “Valentin’s favorite spot for Chinese food😊,” Another worriedly wrote, “I love it. You and Finola were magic on GH today. All the fans are crying watching it. No one else keeps me tuning in to GH like Vanna. I hate this. [I can’t] stand the thought that we may never see Vanna together again. I hope this is not the last time we will be seeing VAL.”
The fans were united in their response that they want to see Valentin and Anna succeed as a couple. They even showered the duo with praise for their chemistry, as one follower lovingly replied, “The scenes between you and Finola were heart wrenching and so believable. Your pairing has been the best in decades and always invokes tons of feelings. Hope you both are here to stay.”
We don’t think either one is going anywhere, and it’s fun to see Stuart clowning around in the real world!
