GH Star Kelly Monaco Speaks Out On Her Gratitude For Her Fans’ Support

It’s been an emotional couple of weeks for General Hospital star Kelly Monaco, and the fans have had her back through it all, letting the veteran soap star know how much they care about her — and she’s now letting them know that she’s seen their outpouring of love — and it means so much to her.

Kelly Monaco Shares Her Gratitude

The gorgeous actress isn’t exactly known for being chatty on social media so any occasion where she reaches out is treasured by her fans and she did just that on Monday evening, after seeing so many messages from fans wishing her a very happy birthday. She took to Twitter to say thank you.

“I’m Overwhelmed with the amount of Love and Kindness that was shared today,” wrote Monaco. “I’m most proud of bringing this eclectic group of people together… When we support each other, great things happen. Thank you so much for putting a smile on my face!”

That smile was exactly what fans were hoping to do, if you guy by the over 100 comments to her Tweet, saying pretty much that. Fans know that it’s not been an easy time for the stunning star. She experienced a house fire back on Friday, May 13, that will likely take months to repair and thousands of dollars (luckily she has good insurance!). Needless to say, escaping with her life was priceless.

Things are on a much nicer footing in Port Charles for her character, Sam, as she’s in the early glow of her new relationship with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), which appears to be well received by fans. Especially since in their storyline, they often get to see a smile on her face.
