In Custody: Where Should Joss Live On General Hospital?

Big-headed baby Joss only lived with both her parents, Carly and Jax, for a little while before they split up yet again and her mother gravitated back to Sonny… yet again, on General Hospital.

For most of her life, Carly (Laura Wright) had primary custody, and Joss (Eden McCoy) lived with the Corinthos clan. But with Sonny (Maurice Benard) presumed dead, and Carly taking over the mob business, almost 3,000 fans have some new ideas of who should have custody of little Miss Jacks.

Grow Up

Why are we talking about custody, 78% of you are scratching your heads in confusion. Joss is 18 years old, she’s an adult. If she doesn’t want to stay with Carly or Jax (Ingo Rademacher), she can go live in the PCU dorms with Trina (Sydney Mikayla). Or she can rent her own place. We assume she’s got plenty of trust funds she can dip into for the first month’s rent and safety deposit.

Safety First

A much smaller 13% see the no-brainer option as being Jax. He’s her dad, he loves her. And, oh, yeah, he’s not a criminal constantly being shot at. Add to that those times when Sonny flat out tried to kill Jax, and Joss should have nothing to do with her mother’s husband, even if he, at the moment, doesn’t remember all the horrible things he’s done to the man Carly dared periodically to fall in love with instead of him.

To Protect and Serve

Only 9% of the audience believe that Joss should stick with Carly. Her mother is the only person who can keep Joss safe. After all, we don’t want her ending up like Michael (Chad Duell), in a coma for years after being shot in the head by Sonny’s enemies.

Of course, Michael was supposedly under Sonny’s protection then… Never mind, Carly has learned a lot since then. And, you know, nothing at all. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
