The Young and the Restless — The Week Ahead
The wedding of Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) is almost here. Will the nuptials go off without a hitch, or are the bride and groom doomed to have a chaotic, drama-filled day? If the engagement party is any kind of indicator, their wedding celebration could take some twists and turns. After all, no one was expecting Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) and her son to crash Summer and Kyle’s engagement party.
We’ll get to see more of the cute couple that is Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) this coming week. Tessa will shock Mariah when she shows up at her door with a surprise. Will Tessa shower Mariah with gifts and love, or surprise her with some devastating news?
Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) machinations are over, and she is realizing how seriously her actions have hurt those around her. With everyone out to get her, Chelsea seeks forgiveness from those whose lives she turned upside down. Does she deserve their forgiveness and will she get it?

Chelsea put on quite the performance when she made an explosive confession and faked a breakdown in front of Rey. Victor feigned concern and had her hauled way by a psychiatrist. Rey had no choice but to believe everything and set Adam free.
The transplant went well and Adam was home before too long. He swore to turn over a new leaf and stop targeting his family. He would only target Billy from now on. Victor was pleased.
Kyle and Summer looked forward to their engagement party. They were all dolled up and ready to celebrate. Unfortunately, Tara crashed the party with Kyle’s son in tow.
