The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, May 12, 2021, features Jax laying the verbal smackdown on Carly, Sam putting her P.I. skills to work, and Alexis arguing that if you didn’t do the crime, you shouldn’t do the time.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Carly’s (Laura Wright) “business” problems wreaked havoc on what was supposed to be a Josslyn-centric conversation, and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) didn’t appreciate that one little bit.
In fact, he was so disgusted by the entire display, that he told Carly he was going to encourage Josslyn (Eden McCoy) to leave the Corinthos compound and move in with him. When Carly voiced her objection, Jax crushed her with further disparaging (and truthful) comments about her parenting style.
Fancy Meeting You Here
Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) told Jason (Steve Burton) that she was certain she had Huntington’s, despite the lack of a proper diagnosis. He tried to lift her spirits by suggesting that she was actually suffering from a less debilitating disease.
Elsewhere, Sam (Kelly Monaco) impeded detective Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) hunt for Jason and Britt, and she wound up finding the two just as they were making plans to head for a new location.
Romantically Inclined
Trina (Sydney Mikayla) was not best pleased to see Portia (Brook Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) flirting outrageously at The Metro Court, and she told Ava (Maura West) so. Shouldn’t Curtis be working on saving his marriage instead of playing nice with her mama?
Luckily for Trina, her mood was significantly buoyed by the news that Josslyn was joining her at PCU. At least at college, there won’t be so much drama to deal with…right?
Planning Committee
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) finally learned what many members of the public already knew – Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) is innocent of the crime he pled guilty to. Alexis tried her damndest to convince her ex, and current in-law, to fight for his freedom, but Shawn claimed not to be particularly bothered.
Rather than drop the subject, Alexis persisted in her argument…but Shawn would not be moved. He’s loyal to Sonny (Maurice Benard) always. Dead or alive. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
