On Wednesday, General Hospital introduced us to “Feelings Nelle”–a version of the character that actually shows true emotion and vulnerability.
In scenes with Michael, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) let her guard down slightly, admitted that she never expects happiness, and will do anything she has to in order to gain and keep satisfaction.
However, meeting (and falling for) Michael (Chad Duell) has given her more than satisfaction and she wants to keep that much. Therefore, she has a change of heart and decides she doesn’t want to ruin Carly’s life after all.
However, her plan has already been put in motion as that ominous manila envelope containing the recording of Sonny talking about them (supposedly) sleeping together continues to linger in Carly’s (Laura Wright) inbox.

Meanwhile, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) is working with Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) to dig up dirt on Nelle and bring her down. According to the March 6 issue of Soap Opera Digest, the pair is onto something and it might be too late for Feelings Nelle to win this war with Naughty Nelle.
Does this mean we’ll finally learn what makes this girl tick, who she really is, and why the heck she’s in Port Charles? For the love of everything that is soaps, let this be true.
