Jason May Unload His Problems on Carly
After dealing with Anna and Britt’s drama and the trauma that it caused, Jason (Steve Burton) confides in Carly (Laura Wright). There are a couple of things that he could get off his chest. First of all, how grateful he is to Joss (Eden McCoy). He just learned from her that her actions and her compromise led to his release from the WSB’s black site prison.
Second, this whole mess with Anna (Finola Hughes) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). Jason and Britt have it out after she asks him to have her back with the cops. She wants to turn Anna in. And Jason clearly doesn’t want her to go that route, because Anna has decided to get the mental health help she needs. So, however Jason and Britt leave things, it’s understandable why he would need to talk to someone.
But Carly’s in a unique position here. She doesn’t particularly care for Britt or for Anna, for that matter. After all, Anna and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) share major history, and while it’s not a problem for now, their connection could come between them in the future. But if she and Jason do talk about Britt and Anna, then she will undoubtedly be honest with her bestie.
Britt is Feeling the Pain
Things don’t bode well for Jason and Britt’s relationship if Jason has to turn to Carly, while Britt feels the sting of Jason potentially refusing to back her up with the PCPD. She has already noted that everybody seems to be worried about Anna, but nobody cared about the fact that she had a gun trained on her, and Anna did shoot bullets over her head. Her life was very much in danger.
Something tells us that Britt isn’t likely to get the therapy she needs to deal with all of the trauma that she has experienced. Instead, she may seek revenge.
Nina Has Some Explaining to Do
Nina (Cynthia Watros) is in the hot seat, and Friday’s episode set it up. Joss already filled in the acting WSB Station Chief Baines (Alimi Ballard) about Nina and Jack’s public spectacle of a fight. Carly provided more color commentary since she was there to see it. Despite Nina’s insistence on protecting and enabling her daughter at all costs, Valentin feared for his ex.
And his instincts are correct. Baines will question Nina, who was just asking Ava (Maura West) if she knew where Jack (Chris McKenna, who has a heartfelt message for the fans) was.
Wait until someone finds Jack’s wallet in her car. The one Drew (Cameron Mathison) planted there so he could get payback for many things, but especially her attempt to kill him when she pushed him and his wheelchair into the lake.

Finally, half-siblings Cody (Josh Kelly) and Serena (Kelly Kruger) get better acquainted. And Molly (Kristen Vaganos) fears Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is courting trouble. This may be about Drew’s inability to see reason and let Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski, GH’s performer of the month for August) see her family.
In the video preview at the end of Friday’s episode, Alexis shares words of wisdom with Scout. “The less you tell your father about the Davis girl interactions, the better.” Let’s hope Drew never finds out that Alexis encouraged her granddaughter to keep secrets from her dad. Drew’s a vindictive person. A very vindictive person.
