General Hospital fans know how it is: Your dad is marrying a woman half his age. The night before the wedding, you sleep with her. Nine months later, your little brother is born. Sounds legit, no reason to follow up here. For some 30 odd years, that’s exactly the tack Finn has been taking.

He and Chase (Josh Swickard) have settled on a pretty decent fraternal relationship. But then Chase’s mom, Jackie (Kim Delaney) came to town, and everyone was forced to consider the obvious. Leave It Alone
A majority 68% of the audience likes things just the way they are. Finn and Chase make pretty good brothers, no matter the age differences. It took a lot of work to get them to this point, and the chemistry is pretty fun. Let them be brothers, and let Chase deal with the possibility of his brother sleeping with his mother and betraying his father – but not turning into Daddy Dearest in the process.

Daytime Drama
A smaller 32% of you want all the drama that a reveal would bring! Chase versus Finn, Finn versus Jackie, Jackie versus Chase, Gregory (Gregory Harrison) versus Finn, Gregory versus Jackie, and Anna (Finola Hughes) in the middle of all this – just as she’s finished dealing (we hope) with her own surprise (sort of) son drama.
What’s the fun of Finn NOT turning out to be Chase’s father? What would have been the point of bringing up the ancient history story in the first place? Chase has been a nice, happy-go-lucky guy up to this point.
Maybe this will inspire him to go darker. GH loves people going darker! On the other hand, it might loosen Finn up. What can he do but laugh, at this point? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
