There is nothing harder on a couple than losing a child, and General Hospital’s Sasha Gilmore and Brando Corbin have it worse than most, as they wouldn’t have even really been a couple if it weren’t for the baby.

Right now, they are both in too much pain to deal with another person who is also hurting. The worse of it needs to die down before they can move on with their joint lives.

Nobody else on Earth understands how they’re feeling more than Liam’s other parent. This is the perfect opportunity to bond as a couple in a way that most never get the chance to. They might as well turn disaster into an opportunity. Let something good come from Liam’s death. His mommy and daddy together forever.

Sasha and Brando may never be a romantic couple again, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be friends, 17% of fans advise. This experience with Liam will always bond them to each other, and they should be there to support each other through every tragic anniversary, if not as a couple, then at least as co-parents. Just because Liam is no longer with them, doesn’t mean they won’t always be his parents. And he would want them to get along without him.
