Whether they love to gossip, have the best advice, or are so worldly and interesting, don’t you wish you could just get together with them and share a great conversation over a cup of Corinthos coffee?

Soap Operas: Character For Coffee Talk

Until action stories like love-on-the-run plots took over soaps, there was more time for characters to sit down with each other discuss everything happening to friends and family while sharing a pot of tea or a cup of coffee — and once in a while, soaps seem to still give us that with old friends catching up. Here are some characters we think would make excellent company.

The Young and the Restless: Traci

Is there anyone more comforting on daytime than YR’s Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland)? She would be more than happy to listen to every word we say without judgment, the same way she listens to her family and friends. Of course, what you say may end up in her next novel but even that will make you feel honored because Traci makes you feel like you matter.

Days of our Lives: Marlena

If anyone could give Traci a run for her money it would be Marlena (Deidre Hall) in Salem. Marlena actually listens for a living and can offer helpful advice, even if you’re a serial killer like Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). Marlena has seen it all and you just know she has so much to share, you could listen to her for hours on end.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Katie

There is no better girlfriend to hang out with than Katie (Heather Tom). She will have your back like she does her sisters, but boy we’re betting she’d be more than happy to spill some tea as you enjoy a cup of joe with her. She doesn’t suffer fools gladly and we want the lowdown on being with Bill (Don Diamont) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks). Spill, Katie!

General Hospital: Scott

Sometimes hanging out with someone who has a mischievous side is a must and who better than to spill all about the man behind Corinthos coffee than Scott (Kin Shriner)? Plus, he has all the inside scoops on just about everyone in town since he’s lived in Port Charles for so long. Hell, he used to be married to the mayor — and we want to know all from someone who wouldn’t hold back.
