She’s the newest villainess in Port Charles, plotting and planning to make sure she and her love, ‘Spence’ Cassadine get everything she thinks they have coming to them. Well, her portrayer, Avery Kristen Pohl, has already had her dream come true — thanks to her job on General Hospital.
Avery Kristen Pohl: Dreams Do Come True
For most viewers, the end of the show’s “next…on General Hospital” brings anticipation and excitement about what’s to come in Port Charles and for Pohl, it brings back an adorable memory for her growing up. She recently revealed that memory in a post to her Twitter account, sharing a recent “next on” clip from the official show’s account.
“Starting at age 4 I stood in front of the TV saying ‘on the next,’ and thanks to [General Hospital] and [ABC] a kids dream got to be made into a reality❤️,” shared the young star, adding, “it might seem like just a few words but this really meant the world to me. So grateful to work with fantastic humans💖💖💖.”
While her character may be nothing but a troublemaker — Esme Prince is wreaking a lot of havoc with both the young set and her older targets — offscreen, it’s obvious that Pohl is a beloved cast member already, especially with immediate co-stars like Eden McCoy. Her character of Josslyn Jacks may draw Esme’s ire, but the two gals adore each other in real life.
When General Hospital’s official Twitter account shared an adorable picture of the two actresses, Pohl retweeted adding, “Look out folks…things are going to get interesting….also want to add how fun it is to work with such a sweet and talented individual [Eden McCoy].”
McCoy was just as adorable and gracious with her response saying, “am loving every minute w/u baby.” Their mutual admiration is a joy to watch offscreen while their brewing rivalry onscreen is a dream come true.
