The Bachelor franchise is undergoing additional changes. Last month, ABC announced they were pausing production on The Bachelorette. Many crew members have left the franchise recently, including two people at the top.
Another Shakeup
Deadline was the first to report on Monday, March 3, that two top executives left The Bachelor franchise. Co-executive producers Keely Booth and Michael Margolis exited the ABC dating show. They both worked in postproduction and exited from their respective positions at the end of last week.
Booth and Margolis joined the franchise last year. Prior to working on The Bachelor, the duo worked on the Canadian version of Bachelor in Paradise. Margolis was the series director of many versions of the Canadian franchise. Meanwhile, Boot was a showrunner of Bachelor in Paradise in Canada.

Mass Exodus
This news comes on the heels of a mass exodus involving the franchise. Deadline previously reported that numerous crew members lost their jobs following The Bachelorette pause. This change has impacted the production crew who works on these shows. They were informed that their services were no longer needed on the franchise.
It’s unclear how many crew members this impacted. Those still working on the current season of The Bachelor will remain until their duties end. Bachelor in Paradise will start filming in the summer. It’s also been reported that dozens of producers involved with the franchise have accused the executive producers and showrunners of creating a “toxic” workplace. Claire Freeland and Benett Graebner both denied the accusations.
