It’s normal for women — and men, for that matter — to have freakouts before their wedding ceremony, which is exactly what Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) did before hers on Grey’s Anatomy.
Thankfully, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) was there to listen to her emotional rant about no longer having family by her side. “And I don’t know what I’m doing. And there is no one here with me, there’s no one here to tell me to quit or to get me down the aisle, or to help me. That is Derek’s job and Derek is dead,” Amelia says.
