On General Hospital, Sidwell is usually the one in control. He handles challenges head-on and often bulldozes his way into a solution that benefits him and only him. In the Tuesday, June 2 episode, Sidwell is blindsided. Port Charles may need to brace themselves for the inevitable reaction and potential retaliation.

Key Takeaways

  • Sidwell is blindsided, potentially setting the stage for a dangerous reaction.
  • Michael appears to be manipulating a situation involving Willow and Chase.
  • Nina makes a choice that could reveal where her loyalties truly lie.
  • Elizabeth makes a confession, while Cullum delivers grim news.

Sidwell is Caught Completely Off Guard

Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has had his way with Port Charles for far too long. He used trumped-up evidence to leverage Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Laura (Genie Francis). And in the process, he got the waterfront property he wanted. The easiest and fastest flight plan that, of course, was a nuisance to residents like the Quartermaines. He wormed his way into Deception and uses the company for his own illegal purposes.

Oh, and he and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) are spearheading Faison’s final project, which is some sort of cold fusion weapon that should never be unleashed on the public. He suffered a huge loss when Marco (Adrian Anchondo) was killed. But his ally was the culprit in that crime.

There’s no way the citizens of Port Charles will let this guy infiltrate their town forever. At some point, they will get their payback. And they will drive him out of town. Laura and Sonny are already working on a plan. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly (Laura Wright) as well. On Tuesday, Sidwell gets blindsided. Is Cullum the one who blindsides him when he delivers grim news? Or is that news for someone else?

Michael Manipulates Willow

Michael (Rory Gibson) may be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. He has guessed that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was the other car in Jordan’s accident, and she hasn’t told her husband about it. By holding onto the news, she puts her marriage in jeopardy because Chase (Josh Swickard) is such a by-the-book cop. It also puts the adoption in jeopardy. If she had just gone to the cops when it first happened, everything bad could have been avoided.

Michael must somehow engineer a situation involving Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Chase on the Quartermine property. In GH’s weekly video preview, Willow and Chase, once again, find themselves face-to-face. This time, instead of athletic wear, they are in a bikini and swim trunks, respectively. Brook Lynn already threatened Willow, telling her to back off from her husband. This situation won’t end well, especially since Tracy (Jane Elliot) may stumble upon them.

Nina Makes a Choice

On Tuesday, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) makes a confession. And elsewhere, Nina (Cynthia Watros) makes her allegiance clear, and it may not be about Willow but someone else.

Lately, she has been visiting Brennan. (Chris McKenna) in the hospital — even Turning Woods — and feeling guilty for being the one to put him in this dire situation. She stopped giving him Drew’s meds, and she wants him to recover. After all, she didn’t initially mean to inject him. So maybe this is about her being Team Jack over Team Valentin.
