Nina is completely responsible for the predicament that Brennan finds himself in on General Hospital. As a result, Nina is feeling immense guilt. Spoilers for the Monday, June 1 episode reveal that Nina can’t help herself. She visits Brenan at Turning Woods.
Key Takeaways
- Nina’s guilt leads her to visit Brennan at Turning Woods.
- Laura and Sonny bring Lucas into their plan against Sidwell.
- Dante turns to Liz for advice as Rocco remains on the run.
- Ric advises Tracy, while Carly defends Lulu.
Guilt Drives Nina Towards Brennan
Apparently, Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) did what he said he would do. He had Brennan (Chris McKenna) transferred from GH to Turning Woods, which is where Nina (Cynthia Watros) pops up on Monday. She hasn’t been dosing him with the concoction Sidwell (Carlo Rota) had Willow (Katelyn MacMullen, who admits her character is operating from a delusional place) give Drew (Cameron Mathison).
So that means that at some point soon, Brennan should recover from his locked-in state, and then he can tell Nina what he thinks of what she did. However, she has been extremely apologetic about accidentally sticking him with the syringe. And she could probably be of use to Brennan once he’s with it again. How will Jack respond to Nina once he’s alert, moving, and talking?
Laura and Sonny Bring Someone Else Into Their Inner Vengeance Circle
It’s time for Port Charles to deal with Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Laura (Genie Francis) and Sonny’s current plan is to get Pascal (Marc Forget) to turn on his boss. Sonny (Maurice Benard) seems to think that he can be pretty persuasive. But they may need some help to strategize, and who better than a man on the inside? Pascal may despise Lucas (Van Hansis), but Lucas has had many dealings with Sidwell’s right-hand man.
In fact, they recently reached a twisted understanding. They both blame themselves (and maybe even each other) for Marco’s death. And they both know it’s imperative they keep this information from Sidwell, or they are toast. Laura and Sonny could benefit from Lucas’s knowledge and proximity to Pascal, which is probably why they turn to him, according to the teasers.
Ric Counsels Tracy
Ric (Rick Hearst, who says he works alongside the greatest work wives in daytime) is about to advise Tracy (Jane Elliot), which is interesting. In the video sneak peek at the end of the Friday, May 29 episode, Tracy is with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). And she declares that they need to get Sidwell out of their business, most likely Deception. She turns to Ric and asks him how to do that. Tracy is already upset that she had to back down on stopping Sidwell’s precious flight path. If she can do anything to bring down Sidwell, she will. How will Ric respond?
Dante Opens Up to Liz…Again
Ric better not get wind of Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Liz’s latest chat. If the police commissioner isn’t on Ric’s radar yet, it might be a matter of time. Anyway, Dante’s life is a hot mess. Rocco (Finn Carr) is on the run with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). Dante and Lulu (Alexa Havins) are listening to Sonny, who has Brick (Stephen A. Smith) trying to track down the fugitives. Look for Dante to confide in Liz (Rebecca Herbst). And much like Ric, she won’t just lend Dante an ear. She’ll probably offer up some much-needed advice, too.
Carly Defends Lulu
Finally, Carly (Laura Wright) defends Lulu. The cousins have been on the same page lately, so it doesn’t come as a shock. Plus, Carly is someone who will go scorched earth for her kids and knows that Lulu will do the same. The thing is, she’d better hope and pray that Lulu doesn’t find out anytime soon that Carly has been providing shelter to Valentin (James Patrick Stuart).
Or that Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) has visited with her dad multiple times. So while they may be on the same page now, who knows how much longer that will last.
