Jake Pavelka is best known for being the leading man on Season 14 of The Bachelor. His short-lived romance with winner Vienna Girardi was full of drama and made that season one of the more interesting ones to watch.

From his interest in flying to his acting jobs, here are five fast facts you need to know about former reality star Jake Pavelka.

Born to Fly
Pavelka was born in Dallas and began taking flying lessons when he was just 12 years old. He then started working as a pilot for Atlantic Southeast Airlines.

Fit Lifestyle
Since his time on both The Bachelorette and The Bachelor, Pavelka has really gotten into fitness. In fact, he has done a number of triathlons and is the cousin of famous personal trainer and fitness model, Jessie Pavelka.

DWTS Alum
Following his time on The Bachelor, Pavelka was cast on Season 10 of Dancing With the Stars. He was partnered with Chelsie Hightower, but they were, unfortunately, the fifth couple to be eliminated.

Soap Star
Pavelka has done a bit of acting since his time on reality TV, and he has even been on The Bold and the Beautiful! He played the character of Kyle the Pilot in a recurring role from 2011 to 2014.

Along with his various reality show appearances and his passion for fitness, Pavelka also guest hosted the Chippendales show in Las Vegas from February to March 2012.
