Couples Roulette
The DiMera brothers have swapped partners, sparking jealousy. EJ (Dan Feuerriegel)and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) are watching the Cubs game at the mansion when they see a familiar couple locking lips on the kiss cam. It’s Chad (Conner Floyd) and Belle (Martha Madison). Let’s just say they don’t exactly look happy to watch their exes moving on.
Meanwhile, Abe (James Reynolds) and Lexie (Nikki Crawford) arrive at Salem’s Juneteenth celebration. It turns out that Abe’s other wife, Paulina (Jackée Harry), is there too. But that’s not the worst of it. Lexie learns something she never knew. “This is your anniversary?” she declares to her husband.
Treasure Chess
Chad and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) examine a chess box set left by the late Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). Theo lifts it up, and a ring falls into his hand. Is it just a trinket, or does it have significant meaning?
Tainted Drug?
Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) share a hug, while Cat confronts her brother, Mark (Jonah Robinson), about his work in EJ’s lab. “Is there a problem with EJ’s drug?” she asks him. “No,” retorts Mark. “Why would you think that?”
Cabin Fever
Salem’s teen set heads to the Horton cabin for a little summer fun. “Well, we’re here,” announces Holly (Ashley Puzemis) with a smile as she walks in with Tate (Leo Howard). Ari (Vico Escorcia) and Aaron (Louis Tomeo) are there to greet them. “Just in time for happy hour,” responds Ari.
Digging for Dirt
Brady (Eric Martsolf) continues to help Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) investigate Destiny’s sudden and mysterious death. Sarah sees him staring at something on his phone, which prompts her to ask, “What is it?” Brady responds, “Well, one of the companies is DiMera Pharmaceuticals.”
Furor and Fall
Suddenly, the action cuts back to Holly, who looks terribly distraught. Then EJ approaches Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), and his eyes are bulging with rage. Finally, Holly and Tate are outside the cabin. “Holly,” cries out Tate as his girlfriend suddenly collapses in his arms.
