Key Takeaways

- Alex finds Stephanie with Joy and Kelsey, sparking a custody dispute.
- EJ shocks Chad with the possibility that Dominic Marino is their brother.
Close Encounter
Johnny (Carson Boatman) scurries through Horton Square and nearly bumps into Sophia (Rachel Boyd). Yes, that Sophia. The troubled teenager is back in Salem this week.
Another Chance
Jada (Elia Cantu) summons Lani (Sal Stowers) for a meeting at the Salem Police Department. “How would you like to have your old job back?” Jada asks the former cop. Lani can’t quite believe her ears and shakes her head as she ponders what to say… or do.
Cause for Concern
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) walks into his apartment and finds Stephanie (Abigail Klein) with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) and his daughter, Kelsey. It looks like Stephanie has some explaining to do.
“I was concerned,” says Stephanie, who heard Kelsey crying and just wanted to help. But Joy won’t have any of it. “You should be,” she snaps. “Because Kelsey and I have only been here less than an hour, and you’re already violating the terms of our new custody agreement.”
Is It Love?
Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) has another session with Marlena (Deidre Hall). The psychiatrist poses something to her patient that she didn’t see coming. “Is it possible that you were falling in love with EJ?” inquires Marlena. Cat is taken aback by Marlena’s question and stares back at her without saying a word.
Blood Brothers
Speaking of EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), he has one thing on his mind at the moment. Actually, make that one person. “The mysterious Dominic Marino may share our blood,” he reveals to a stunned Chad (Conner Floyd). “That he, in fact, may be our brother.”
