Lani Price Grant returns as all hell breaks loose.
Lani returns home to Salem for a sad occasion, and gunfire erupts at Gabi and Stefan’s engagement party as DAYS spoilers reveal some tantalizing surprises, including a kiss between a pair of exes, who had seemingly moved on.
Here’s your Days of our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of July 3 – July 7, 2023. It’s a perfect blend of big discoveries, fireworks, and romance.
Chanel (Raven Bowens) opens the front door to reveal Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) standing there. “Lani,” gushes Paulina (Jackée Harry). “Hi, Mama. I’m home,” says Lani, as she rushes over and embraces her mother.
Lani’s back to say goodbye to Abe (James Reynolds), the adoptive father she couldn’t love more if he was her own flesh and blood. “I’m sorry, Lani,” consoles Eli as the pair attend the memorial service for the believed dead, Abe.
But, as viewers know, Abe’s not really dead. Wacky Whitley (Kim Coles) staged the whole thing. And, apparently, Lani has her suspicions that something is not quite right.
After mulling things over, Lani decides to investigate further what led the cops to declare Abe dead. “I want to see that evidence for myself,” she insists. So she heads to the Salem PD with Eli and starts going through everything the cops have on the case.
Lani comes across a picture of Jerry (Terrell Ransom, Jr.), the eyewitness who claims to have seen Abe plummet into the river, and ponders aloud, “Why would this guy lie about seeing my dad fall into the water?”
Abe makes a discovery of his own about Jerry when he tunes in to watch another episode of Body & Soul. A red-headed vixen, played by Lauren Koslow (Kate), purrs, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the most unstoppable of them all?” Then the camera pans to Jerry. Wait, Jerry? Abe’s stunned to see his supposed son is an actor. “Theo?” mutters a very confused Abe.
Meanwhile, across town, you won’t want to miss the fireworks at Gabi (Camila Banus) and Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) engagement party, when Harris (Steve Burton) arrives and pulls out a gun. Remember, he’s been brainwashed by Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) to take out Stefan.
Gabi tries to save the day and her fiancé by jumping on Harris’s back. Everyone watches in horror when the gun suddenly goes off. And someone unexpected gets hit.
And, last but not least, on-again-off-again lovers, Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) share an unexpected kiss. You’ll have to tune in to find out what prompts it. See the DAYS promo for yourself below.
