Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) has big dreams for her husband’s future. Abe Carver (James Reynolds) made a name as one of the best Mayors around, but why should he end there? Isn’t it time he makes an impact on a grander scale?
Is this what Abe wants, though? He’s quite happy with his job in this little town. Salem has his heart and soul, and he’s fought for a long time to keep it as safe as Salem can be. Why change? Perhaps a meeting with Governor Mitchell (Mark Bramhall) may get Abe’s political mojo going?
Meanwhile, over at the prison, Orpheus (George DelHoyo) stirs up some drama of his own, including some for the Governor. What could these two possibly have to talk about? This doesn’t look very good at all. Perhaps Abe should keep the big political figure at arm’s length.

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
