Days of our Lives, once again, reached into its goodie bag of old favorites and brought back another blast from the past, Orpheus, again played by the original actor, George DelHoyo. Turns out he’s the dad of Evan, AKA Christian, AKA David’s biological father – and Jordan’s (Chrishell Stause) killer. There’s also a sister, Zoey (Kelly Thiebaud).

The last time Orpheus’s kids were in play, Daddy had kidnapped Marlena (Deidre Hall) to play Mommy to them as revenge against Roman for killing Orpheus’s wife. Nice to see the children were not affected by this crazy lifestyle AT ALL.
But now that he’s got family in Salem, should Orpheus stick around for the long haul? The word from over 3,000 viewers:

An unquestionable majority of 82% are not interested in sorting through these complicated family dynamics. They just want Orpheus gone. And he can take Evan/Christian (Brock Kelly) and Zoey with him.

But leave David with Rafe (Galen Gering). Because we don’t need any more psychos. Bad enough poor David has Orpheus and Jordan – and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) – crazy DNA to overcome. Let’s hope for a case of nurture over nature.
Daytime Drama
A smaller 13% of you are excited about the family drama this could bring. John and Marlena need a new adversary now that Stefano is gone for good(?). And Rafe could use something interesting to do, too. This is a win-win for the viewers most of all.
Good Boy
And then there are the 5% who wish Orpheus would be redeemed. Maybe even get a love interest. Kate (Lauren Koslow) is free these days. And she does love herself some bad boys. So is Hope (Kristian Alfonso). She’s not exactly immune to their charms, either. And then there’s the tantalizing possibility of Marlena… Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
