The DAYS spoilers for Monday, February 21, 2022, tease sisters doing it for themselves, a not at all welcome reunion, and a husband and wife sleuthing team desperate to free themselves from their confines. You won’t want to miss this brand-new, post-Winter Olympics episode.
Never one to suffer a fool gladly, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) decides to take on Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), physically. That’ll teach Kristen to stand around pontificating, threatening, and being all talk and no action. Here’s hoping that Abigail will make the most of her temporary victory.
Meanwhile, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), apparently tired of twirling around her bedroom like a busted ballerina and eating copious amounts of peach pie, decides that a change of scenery will do her some good. So, off into the wild jungle, she sets.
It’s moving in day for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) — and the accommodations at Statesville leave a lot to be desired. But even worse than the condition of EJ’s new residence, is the person he’ll be sharing it with…dastardly Clyde Weston (James Read).
Color EJ ungrateful, but is it too much to expect that the governor of the prison not assign him a bunkmate who once ordered his death? And yes, EJ is still very sore about that. And no, Clyde isn’t in the least bit contrite. All’s fair in wartime as far as he’s concerned. Will the two men manage to make nice like Clyde’s son Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) did with the man he tried to kill — Will Horton (Chandler Massey) — when they shared a cell? What is with this twisted prison bunking system?
Back on DiMera island…or Melaswen…or the island where Roman Brady (then, Wayne Northrop; now, Josh Taylor) fell to his supposed death…or the one where Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) supposedly drowned in quicksand…Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) ready themselves for a daring escape attempt.
But what exactly will the dynamic duo do once they’ve exited the storm shelter? Perhaps they should really formulate a plan before getting too ahead of themselves. Also, a change of clothes might be in order. Surely a nun’s habit isn’t the most versatile garment. Did Kristen even provide them with a new wardrobe?
