Chanel (Raven Bowens) is stunned and upset over all the recent events rattling her life. Jail! Harassment! Graffiti! It’s all too much and she’s just about ready to fall apart. Luckily, her good friend Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is right there to comfort her. He really is such a good ex-husband-sort-of-brother-in-law-buddy-and-pal. Maybe she picked the wrong twin…again?

As if that’s not enough, the Carver/Price family is in for a whole lot more drama — this time when Abe (James Reynolds) is pushed to quit his job. The town’s beloved mayor is told to step down — or else! Abe may be a great politician and a town favorite but look at the mess his family is in. His wife is in custody, for crying out loud! Will Abe really throw in the towel and walk away? And, if so, who becomes mayor?

DOOL Spoilers: Will You Be My Lawyer?

Speaking of people behind bars, Eric (Greg Vaughan) is in trouble and he needs a lawyer. Since his sister is basically useless to him, he calls upon Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) to take the case. Hey, why not, she’s a firecracker, right? She’s as ruthless as they come and he sure needs someone like that to get out of this mess.

Will Sloan get him off on the assault charge? Maybe. Will Eric look back and regret calling her up? Probably. This could make for quite a story.

All the while, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) breaks down and turns to her boss Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) for support. She has some things to get off her chest and he’s the exact guy she needs to listen to her.
