The DAYS recap for Tuesday, December 6, 2022, sees two similar souls finding each other in the strangest of places, two acts of magnanimity, threats levied, and more.
DAYS Recap Highlights
In this episode, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) made each other’s acquaintance, and the former offered the latter her services. Elsewhere, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) made Nicole Walker Soon-To-No-Longer-Be-Hernandez’s (Arianne Zucker) day twice over, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) bore the brunt of a terror campaign, and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) balked at the very conspiracy that they joined. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Days of our Lives Recap: Friends In Low Places
Upon awakening with one Hell of a hangover, the last thing that Eric wanted to do was swap stories with jail mate Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry), but he’s a fairly good guy, so he gave it the old college try.
Eric copped to punching EJ in the face — Paulina approved; after all, the man called her youngest baby a gold digger right to her face — and roughing up his sister’s mister; Paulina told him all about Sloan, the “bitch with an axe to grind.”

Much like Beetlejuice and/or Candyman, Sloan appeared once her name was invoked enough times, and she set about gloating over Paulina’s predicament. Paulina was saved by the bell — well, her lawyer, whose name is Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) — but that didn’t keep Sloan from hurling nasty things as she was being led away.
Eric didn’t much approve of Sloan badmouthing his sister, and Sloan kinda, sorta apologized. Then she introduced herself, and the two got to talking. Turns out they both know a thing or two about letting anger fester and then get the better of them. That seems a pretty good basis to build a friendship, or at least a client/consul relationship. Would Eric like Sloan to represent him? It’s not like he has any other takers — remember, Belle’s mad at him for what he did to Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).

DOOL Recap: You Never Know Until You Try
Is it true? Is Nicole a hopeless slut who’ll hop into bed with a man, any man, if she gets drunk enough? The jury is still out. What is certain, however, is that Nicole and EJ did not hook up the previous night — Nicole’s nightmare, the contrary notwithstanding.
Secure in that knowledge, Nicole resolved to convince EJ not to press charges against Eric for assault, and she was successful in her efforts. EJ, for his part, then resolved to convince Nicole that she and Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander) should move into the DiMera manse for the foreseeable future; he was successful in his efforts.
DAYS Recap: Rough Day
Chanel planned to get Sweet Bits up and running for the morning rush, but instead found herself forced to scrub the spraypainted accusation MURDERER of the storefront. Sloan swore that she had nothing to do with the vandalism, but Chanel wasn’t convinced in the least. At least her successful efforts were rewarded with Wendy’s blueberry pancakes.
Days of Our Lives Recap: Secret Keepers
Speaking of Wendy…she and Johnny are having a hard time keeping quiet about their kin’s involvement in Stefan O. DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) brainwashing. In fact, they’re both itching to come clean — and Johnny comes a hair’s breadth from doing just that when he runs into Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), and she gets on the subject of how much she once loved Stefan.
Luckily — or unluckily, depending on how you view the situation and your affection/loyalties to the players involved — Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) appeared on the scene to threaten him into keeping his mouth well and truly shut.
