Considering that Eric Brady has spent several periods of his life as a presumably celibate priest, he sure is getting a lot of action these days on Days of our Lives. He’s got a no-longer pregnant ex-girlfriend and a still married new one. But which one is best for the part-time padre?
Days of our Lives True Love
Is there any question that it could be anyone but Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), 56% of the audience can’t imagine that being a possibility? This is the woman he stole from his stepbrother, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). This is the woman he stole from his friend, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Eric (Greg Vaughan) has to prove that Nicole is his one true love. Otherwise, he’s just kind of a jerk.
DOOL: Start Fresh
This situation is toxic, 32% of you are forced to admit. Too much water has gone under the bridge for it to ever work out. Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is furious at Eric for cheating on her. Nicole has poisoned the well now that Eric knows she told his ex to abort the baby Eric wanted so much. He can’t be with either one, so he might as well move on. Surely, there is someone in Salem not as messed up…and not a relative.

Eric Brady: Father’s Day
Only 12% think that if Eric wants a child so badly, he needs to try again with Jada. She doesn’t have nearly as much awful history (though she’s now getting close) with Eric as Nicole does, so there is still a chance they could try again and live happily ever after. Or, at least, as miserably as Nicole inevitably always makes him. That relationship always implodes eventually. Why not give something new a try? Jada did say she thought Eric would make a great father…someday.
