DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights

Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada (Elia Cantu) were on the scene of Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) shooting lickety-split, and when the gunman made the tiniest indication that he might join Jake and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) in death, Jada put a bullet in him. No fuss, no muss, no real attempt to talk to him down.

But while Jada may have done Salem and the soap world at large a service, her intervention didn’t come soon enough to save Jake. He coded on the way to the operating room, and Dr. Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) called the time of death. Ava was suitably devastated.

After having a laugh at Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis’s (Judi Evans) expense — if one can derive humor from the implication that he was going to strangle her to death to avenge Anjelica Deveraux (Morgan Fairchild) — Alexander Neil Kiriakis II (Robert Scott Wilson) set about blowing Sonny Kiriakis’s (Zach Tinker) mind with the proposal that they work together at Titan.

Days of our Lives Recap: (Not So) Smooth Move

In one breath, Milo Harp, alias Orpheus (George DelHoyo), claimed that he was a changed man, and in the next, he was not so subtly threatening the lives of Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) children. Not a smart move. Isn’t he supposed to be an evil genius?

DOOL Recap: Compounding The Mess

Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) got her injured foot wrapped and a lecture on the dangers of PTSD, and if that weren’t enough, she was forced into an awkward conversation with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). The poor guy was doing his best to help, but he wasn’t helping.

DAYS Spoilers Recap: Build Up

Eric did seem to make a difference, however, with Jada, who was clearly upset over having taken a life on her second day on the job. This is clearly a couple in the making. But do they have rooting value?
