DAYS Spoilers Recap for July 1: Lani Is Officially Abe Carver’s Daughter

The DAYS spoilers recap for Friday, July 1, 2022, features a hard-to-swallow, but beautiful nonetheless farewell to something that every soap opera is in desperate need of – a second generation.

Family is what you make of it, and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) made damn sure that Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) was officially a part of his — via legal adoption. Cue the waterworks.

In that same spirit, Lani made it abundantly clear to Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry) that she was indeed her mother. Further tears. Happy tears.

DOOL Recap: (Not So) Funny Valentine

Apparently in the mood to stare pure Evil in the face, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) paid a jailed Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) a visit and proceeded to tell her all about herself. It was not pretty nor was any of it complementary.

Hardly chastised, Kristen threatened/promised that she’d win back Brady’s affections…at Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) expense, natch. In response, and owing to the fact that Brady’s a complete sap, he handed over a Valentine that Rachel had made for her mommy.

Days of our Lives Recap: Change Of Address

As is her wont, Vivian Alamain (insert name of famed soap diva here) is making off-camera threats, this time at Lani’s expense. Fearful that his wife won’t survive her stint at Statesville, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) decides that she should be moved to a prison in Maryland close to his mother’s abode.

Rather than being particularly displeased that her husband made such a momentous decision without consulting her, Lani was heartened that he cared so much about her to uproot his life as well as their twins. Nobody else really thanked Eli, however.

DAYS Spoilers Recap: Dangerous Mind

Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) has yet to fully recover from her drugging, hence her assault of poor innocent Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). Perhaps yelling at Kristen will make her feel better. It did? Good…good…progress.
