The DAYS spoilers recap for Friday, August 19, 2022, features Kristen DiMera failing to learn the error of her ways, Li Shin making a big ask of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf, and Ava Vitali calling EJ DiMera’s bluff.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is in quite the pickle. He wants to tame the dragon that is Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), make sure that his relationship with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) stays on solid ground, and see to it that his baby girl is safe and secure.

The only solution that he’s hit upon so far is to try and work out a custody arrangement with Kristen that will work for them both — but that’s going to prove to be easier said than done.
And then there’s the Kristen element. She’s so gung-ho to win back a man that despises her that she’s willing to use her daughter and the skillful mad scientist who’s always at her beck and call. The only thing that Brady has is the ability to bring Kristen’s meetings with Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) to a screeching halt.
DOOL Recap: Call This One A Draw
You have to respect the double bluff. There was EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) making a stink over her supposedly helping Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) momentarily flee from justice and how he was going to personally hand her over to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), and what does Ava (Tamara Braun) do? She hands him her phone and tells him to dial.

Of course, he doesn’t. What proof does EJ have? It’s his word against Ava’s, and when in doubt, the police would probably choose to believe neither one of them and go about their day. Still, EJ makes it clear to Ava that he wants her DiMera shares — and he’s prepared to get them, one way or another.
Days of our Lives Recap: Past Imperfect
When Kristen gets angry, people tend to get stabbed; and though Chloe managed to avoid having a letter opener plunged into her heart, it was a close call indeed.
When apprised of the incident, the ladies’ lady boss, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), responded with shrugged shoulders and the suggestion that Chloe be thankful that she’s still breathing. Chloe threw Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) in Gabi’s face, then immediately regretted the bitchy move.
DOOL Recap: A Friend In Need
Having already made amends to Gabi for actions undertaken while possessed by the Devil, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) found himself offering weepy Ava a torso to hug and cry on. EJ spied the close moment and wasn’t at all pleased. Jealous much?
DAYS Spoilers Recap: Busted!
Rolf had a few choice words for Li (Remington Hoffman) over his attempt to snuff out Stefan, and Li had an order for Rolf — make Stefan fall madly in love with Chloe. Rolf gave it a thought and decided it was a worthwhile venture. Gabi catches sight of the men conspiring and demands an immediate explanation.
