Holly’s Awake
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) are fast asleep when a voice from another room startles them. “Mom,” cries out Holly (Ashley Puzemis), who finally awakens from her coma. The couple leap out of bed and run to Holly’s bedside.
After reconnecting with the teenager, it’s time for Holly to answer some hard questions about the drugs she overdosed on on New Year’s Eve. “Tell us,” coaxes EJ. “Where did you get the drugs?” asks Nicole.
Will Holly take the blame for what went down? Or will she take the easy way out, lie, and throw Tate (Jamie Martin Mann) under the bus?
Lani’s Home
As Paulina’s (Jackée Harry) health continues to deteriorate, some special family members make their way to Salem to offer her their support: Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey).
First, Chanel (Raven Bowens) shares some wonderful news with her mama. “Lani’s been released,” she tells her, noting that her big sister’s prison sentence has ended.
Later, Lani and her husband, Eli, arrive at Paulina’s hospital room with Chanel. Paulina gasps at the wonderful sight. Then, Lani and Chanel embrace their mother.
Admitting the Truth
Although Lani is strong and supportive at Paulina’s bedside, she later admits her true feelings to Abe (James Reynolds). “What mama’s going through…” she begins telling him. “I’m really worried about her.
The Mystery Man
Chad (Billy Flynn) erupts when he learns about the Everett/Bobby fiasco and the effect it’s having on Stephanie (Abigail Klein). “You love her,” he screams out. “We don’t even know who you really are.”
Order to Kill
The walls close in on Stefan (Brandon Barash) when Clyde (James Read) calls and gives him a deadly assignment. “You’re going to finish the job, damn it,” growls Clyde, who wants Stefan to kill Harris (Steve Burton).
“He’s under surveillance,” retorts Stefan. “How the hell am I supposed to kill him?”
Later, at the hospital, Rafe (Galen Gering) stands by Harris’s bedside while Stefan and Ava (Tamara Braun) linger outside his room. That is until Stefan puts Clyde’s plan in motion. Disguised as a doctor, he approaches Harris with a syringe in his hand. But will he actually go through with the murderous plot?
