It looks like all of Charlie’s chickens are coming home to roost on Days of our Lives. Rafe (Galen Gering) knows that Charlie (Mike Manning) kidnapped and drugged Ava (Tamara Braun). Steve (Stephan Nichols) and John (Drake Hogysten) know that he is Ava’s son and that he might have been the one who raped Allie (Lindsay Arnold) — and fathered Henry.
Days of our Lives Polling
But considering how many villains have been redeemed in Salem, is Charlie next? What over 8,000 voters would like to see happen:
Bad Boys For Life
A majority 86% of you think Charlie is irredeemable. He raped Allie. Not because he misread some signals. Not because they were both too drunk to be making reasonable decisions. But because he wanted revenge on his brother. That’s not just sick, that’s certifiable. And there’s no excuse for it.
After all, it’s not like he kidnapped babies and killed people, then became a parent so now all is forgiven. That would be Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). It’s not like he can claim convenient multiple personalities. That would be Abigail (Marci Miller). It’s not like he can get all romantic and remorseful. That would be Xander (Paul Telfer). Well, OK, maybe that last one could still work… No! Nothing doing! Throw the book at him!
Mama Drama
A much smaller 14% of the audience is willing to cut Charlie some slack. After all, he was abandoned by his mom. Aw… He had a cold dad. Aw… His mother told him that Tripp (Lucas Adams) was the best son, while Charlie was the worst. This gave him much sads. Hey, other characters have been forgiven for less.
And, hey, he didn’t try to rape Claire (Isabel Durant). Doesn’t that count for something? He’s practically on the road to sainthood already. Give him a few sessions with Marlena (Deidre Hall). Look at the miracles she worked for Ben (Robert Scott Wilson)! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
